The Kr8ive name is derived from the pronunciation of Creative(/kriˈeɪtɪv/). The initial K reflects the hard /k/ sound at the beginning of the word, creating a distinctive and modern spelling (Kreative).
The 8 replaces the "eat" sound in the word. Because "8" is pronounced "eight," it flawlessly preserves the way the word sounds. This linguistically accurate replacement is based on phonetics rather than simply replacing the letters from E to T.
